Revision #2 Color Correction

Our second revision is color correcting the scenes in "The Girl". Color correction in film is when filters are used to enhance or alter the scene. This can be as simple as making a scene more saturated or as complicated as making a scene black and white. Color correction adds to a dramatic and symbolic effect for many films. For insistence, having bright colors in a horror movie. This forces the audience to think about how scary things like this can happen in the bright of day, just like in "The Girl". A girl is kidnapped and murdered at a park in the bright daylight. Our scenes were unedited in our first submission, because we didn't think about the effects they could possibly have on the films scary "feel". After receiving feedback and watching other films we decided it would be best to color correct our scenes.

Michael and I enhanced the color saturation and made the scenes in the film a lot darker. This made the cuts more appealing to the eye. It also made the scenes have a "scarier" effect since they were slightly darkened.
