Target Audience:
The target audience for Carrie is some what similar to the target audience for Michael and I's film. This is because both have to do with teenagers in high school. Young adults and teenagers can relate to these movies more when the character are in similar situations as them. The age rage is estimated to be around 12-20, this is why teenagers relate most to the movie. Also, since this movie is a remake of the 1976 Carrie some middle aged people would be attracted to this movie since they enjoyed the 1976 version so much. This adds a sense of nostalgia for the viewers watching this film. The genders audience could be either male or female for this movie since it shares interest for both genders. The film does not attract a certain income level, it is open to any body who can afford a ticket. The film also does not attract a certain level of education, although the people watching the movie should be able to understand the plot.

Trailers:
The movie Carrie was marketed by using commercials and releasing trailers to help promote it. These trailers are used to make the audiences see a clip of the movie and feel more interested and want to see more of the movie. The commercials and trailers for Carrie were on YouTube, in between commercials of shows and during the previews at the theater.

Posters:
There was also ads and posters up of Carrie's movie poster which helps get the movies out. The original movie posture (shown to the left) draws a lot of attention. These posters were everywhere, from billboards to benches to taxis and more. The marketing team deciding making her eyes red like the color of blood and fire because of the ending scene in the movie, they thought this would draw the most attention to the poster. The team also made the decision to have the first poster be only a close up on "Carries" face. The posters had the positive effect they were looking for and were posted everywhere.

Press Releases:
This movie also had many press releases before it entered the cinemas. It had a strong team of advertisers for it's campaign. Chloe Grace Moretz was featured in a handful of interviews on and offline. ABC News did a piece on her when she took on the famous role of playing Carrie and shortly after YouTube released a few of her interviews explaining her experience after the movie was done being filmed. The supporting actress Julianne Moore also featured in many interviews about Carrie. ENews did a piece on her and Chloe's experience acting together. Both actresses also used their social media accounts and made post about the movies' release date. The most memorable thing the marketing team did was set up the "Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise". The team created an entire scene in a regular NYC Coffee shop and recorded it. This was to not only scare people but to also raise excitement for the movies release. The people in the coffee had no idea they were being pranked or filmed. This video was posted to Instagram, FaceBook, YouTube and more. At the end of the video a sponsor for the actual movie "Carrie", this was incredible publicity for the movie.

Michael and I's Film:
For marketing Michael and I's film "The Girl" we would release a movie trailer to help get the word out of its release. We would also have ads on the movie and make sure commercials were dedicated to showing things about our movies release. We would do some digital ads along with hanging up actual posters or billboards
